                <gco:CharacterString>## **Abstract** 

This dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.


This resource contains derived flow summary statistics for surface water gauges in the Namoi catchment. The statistics were calculated using the 'River Analysis Package' (Marsh et al, 2003).

## **Purpose** 

The work was undertaken to inform the investigation into surface water - groundwater interaction in the Namoi subcatchment, reported in product 2.1.5.

## **Dataset History** 

Distances between stream gauging stations were estimated using ArcGIS.


Flow summary statistics were determined using the River Analysis Package.
