The parent dataset(s) is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. This selection of Major and minor rivers in the Gippsland area is derived from the VicMap Hydro layer containing line features delineating watercourses, streams and rivers. ## **Purpose** Delineate the major and minor rivers of the Gippsland area for display purposes. ## **Dataset History** The dataset was derived from the Vicmap Hydro layer using ArcGIS Select by attributes and then clipped to the Gippsland model extent.
