                <gco:CharacterString>## **Abstract** 

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. 



The aim of this data set was to calculate maximum, minimum and average values for a range of hydrochemistry parameters used in the 1.5 groundwater quality report for the Namoi sub-region.



This has been clipped to the Namoi sub-region but not the Namoi PAE.

## **Purpose** 

This data set was derived to complete the water quality section of Product 1.5 for the Namoi Bioregional Assessment

## **Dataset History** 

This data set is derived from the National Collaborative Framework Hydrochemical Characterisation Project  Surat Basin Hydrochemistry Spreadsheets. This dataset contains groundwater chemistry data for the Surat Basin as compiled for the report: Ransley, T., Somerville, P., Tan, K.P., Feitz, A., Cook, S., Yates, G., Schoning, G., Caruana, L., Sundaram, S., and Wallace, L. 2014. Groundwater Hydrochemical Characterisation of the Surat Region and Laura Basin - Queensland. Record 2014/xx. Geoscience Australia: Canberra.
