The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from the Australian Geological Provinces, v02 datasets. The source dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

## **Purpose** 

This dataset was developed for use within the Galilee Basin subregion of the Bioregional Assessments and provides, as a single feature, the Permian sediment outcrop for the Galilee Basin subregion.

## **Dataset History** 

Eromanga basin area clipped and discarded from the Galilee Basin within the Australian geological provinces (2013) database, to create a shapefile of where permian outcrop exists within the Galilee Basin.
