Each network is controlled by a board of medical professionals and advised by a clinical council and community advisory committee. The boundaries of the PHNs closely align with the Local Hospital Networks where possible.\nFor more information please see the data source notes on the data. \nSource: Compiled by PHIDU using data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, supplied on behalf of State and Territory health departments for 2017/18; and the average of the ABS Estimated Resident Population, 30 June 2017 and 2018.\nAURIN has spatially enabled the original data.
