The\nassessment includes condition and trend of wetlands, riparian zones,\nthreatened species and ecosystems and the processes that threaten various\nelements of biodiversity. The assessment also includes biodiversity\nconservation opportunities in protected area consolidation, threatened species\nand ecosystem management, and conservation across the wider landscape. This\napplication includes a national database (bs_data.mdb) compiled from State and\nTerritory data supplied to the National Land and Water Resources Audit, and a\ndata entry tool (bs_gui.mdb) which allows data entry, editing and reporting.
