The\nsurvey was flown in two separate blocks known as the eastern block and western block. The\neastern block covers the eastern two thirds of the Throssell 1:250 000 Sheet (Blaxland,\nBuldya, Yamarna and Lake Throssell 1:100 000 Sheets) area and the western block covers the\nnorthern half of the western third of the sheet (Strawbridge 1:100 000 Sheet).\nThe survey area covers part of the northeast margin of the Yilgarn Craton. Intermittent\nArchaean outcrop is restricted to the western half of the survey area. The cover includes\nProterozoic Earaheedy Basin sediments in the north and Palaeozoic Officer Basin sediments\nin the east.\nThe eastern block was flown along north-south flight lines and the western block was flown\nalong east-west flight lines. Both blocks were flown at 400 m line spacing at a nominal\naltitude of 60 m above ground level. AGSO flew the survey in May and June 1998.\nThe total magnetic intensity, gamma-ray spectrometric and digital elevation model data which\nwere collected during the survey, have been processed and merged with a separately acquired\nneighbouring dataset covering the south-western 1:100 000 map Sheet area\n(Jutson 1:100 000 Sheet). The entire dataset is available for purchase, in both digital (point\nlocated data and gridded) and map form, from AGSO.
