In particular, the line delineating the interface between land, internal waters and the \u201cTerritorial Sea\u201d as defined by the Seas and Submerged Lands Act - No. 161 of 1973.The coastline defining Mean High Water Mark (MHWM) does not include MHWM within estuaries.Features within coastline feature class include:Water security is one of Australia\u2019s major challenges. Key users of the hydrology data are NSW State and Local Government agencies as well as Federal Government agencies. These bodies use this data to better manage State and Local Government assets.
