A \"Non Commercial Zone\" extends across the Eastern Seaboard.\nThe commercial harvest of kangaroos in New South Wales is restricted to distinct kangaroo management zones. Kangaroo management zones are used to allocate and issue harvesting quotas. These quotas limit the number of kangaroos of each species that may be harmed commercially in any kangaroo management zone.  Annual harvest quotas for each management zones are established using population estimates calculated from annual population monitoring and reporting.\nThe attribute table contains both the full area hectares and square kilometres as well as the values of those two fields with NPWS Estate subtracted ie. where there is no harvest.\nNB. In 2020 the zone boundaries were modified in the southern part of the State:\n\u2022   the former single Griffith zone was divided into Griffith North and Griffith South and the southern Griffith Zone
