You can find a link to the parent datasets in the Lineage Field in this metadata statement. The History Field in this metadata statement describes how this dataset was derived.\n\n\n\nThe database comprises of 3 output spatial layers:\n\n1)SW Entitlements point locations (SW_LicenceEntitlements_VolSydney)  Key field is \"VolPerWorks\" (Volume per works)\n\n2) Surface Water Sharing Plan volumes by Water Management zone or Water Source classified as Water Access Rights based on use (SW_WSP_WMZ_WS_WaterAccessRight)\n\n3) Surface Water Sharing Plan volumes by Water Management zone or Water Source classified as Basic Water Rights based on use  (SW_WSP_WMZ_WS_BasicWaterRight)\n\n\n\nSteps to create SW Entitlements point locations (SW_LicenceEntitlements_VolSydney)\n\n1) The ArcGIS Create XY event theme was used to spatially enable the NSW Office of Water Surface Water Offtakes excel spreadsheet\n\n2) This was then clipped by the PAE in ArcGIS\n\n3) An additional SW offtake pnt and licence was added from a query performed by NSW Office of water when it was discovered that the new PAEslightly extended the old PAE area.  (see dataset in lineage)\n\n\n\nSteps to create Surface Water Sharing plan volumes by Water Management zone or Water Source\n\n1) In ArcGIS and Intersect was performed on (NSW Office of Water combined geodatabase of regulated rivers and water sharing plan regions) and the Sydney PAE to select only the relevant polygons\n\n2) The NSW Office of Water provided a spreadsheet with volumes for water sharing plans which could be grouped by Water Managment Zone or Water Source (If only one poly).\n\n3) Volumes were joined by WMZ field or Water Source if they did not have a value in WMZ field\n\n\n\nKey volume field for Water Access Right = Share_WAR\n\nKey volume field for Basic Water Right = Share_BWR\n\n\n\n4) A table has been included in the database to show the asset classification (SWCountPurposeClassVolume)\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (2015) SW Economic Elements Sydney Basin 20150730. There are two separate programs of bioregional assessments.\r\n\r\nThe Bioregional Assessment Program (2012 - 2017) seeks to better understand the potential impacts of coal seam gas and large coal mining developments on water resources and water-related assets. It is one of a number of actions undertaken by the Australian Government to strengthen the science underpinning decision making on coal seam gas and large coal mining developments.\r\n\r\nThe Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program (2017 - 2021) assessed the potential impacts of shale and tight gas development on water and the environment. The Program assessed three priority geological basins: the Cooper Basin in Queensland and South Australia, the Isa Superbasin in Queensland and the Beetaloo Sub-basin in the Northern Territory (referred to as GBA regions", "image_url": "2015-10-30-051742.096388Bioregional-assessments-logo-800.jpg", "created": "2015-10-30T05:17:42.164347", "is_organization": true, "approval_status": "approved", "state": "active"}, "original_harvest_source": {"site_url": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/", "href": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/4240553d-702c-4fae-b64b-074d611f2a34", "title": "data.gov.au"}, "owner_org": "69f37b4c-bdf0-4c85-bd56-82fa6d6b087a", "private": false, "spatial_coverage": "POLYGON ((0 0, 0 0, 0 0, 0 0))", "state": "active", "temporal_coverage_from": "2016-09-15 21:35:05", "title": "SW Economic Elements Sydney Basin 20150730", "type": "dataset", "unpublished": false, "url": null, "version": null, "extras": [{"key": "contact_info", "value": "false"}, {"key": "data_state", "value": "active"}, {"key": "field_of_research", "value": "[]"}, {"key": "jurisdiction", "value": "New South Wales"}, {"key": "update_freq", "value": "never"}], "tags": [{"display_name": "New South Wales", "id": "e767d4c4-dcfe-4939-81a4-20cafa72d96e", "name": "New South Wales", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "Sydney Basin bioregion", "id": "b20fe744-9b5b-45e6-ae0f-a52e81e13138", "name": "Sydney Basin bioregion", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "economy", "id": "3b7edd8a-d4ad-4e86-bd3e-f41da014e7bc", "name": "economy", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}], "resources": [], "groups": [], "relationships_as_subject": [], "relationships_as_object": []}}
