Queensland basemap colour web service

The Queensland basemap colour web service is designed for use as a background reference map in applications where the user’s data will take preference service. It has a pale beige background with lightly coloured features and text to show features. The service is based on data acquired and collated by the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy, Queensland for more than thirty years. The map cache will be refreshed periodically to show updated data
