Land systems - western arid region land use...
This dataset is a Land Systems map of the Western Arid Region Land Use Area- Part 2 of 6 in the Desert Channels to Southern Queensland. The mapping covers the Adavale, Blackall, Canterbury, Connemara, Jundah and Windorah 1: 250,000 map sheets and was last updated in 2008. The mapping is at a scale of 1: 500,000 and 62 Land Systems were identified. This region falls largely in the 200-400 mm rainfall zone. Geologically the area is part of the Eromanga Basin sequence within the Great Artesian Basin.
