XBT data typically comprises temperature and depth readings relayed to the surface at intervals of 0.1 seconds as the probe passes through the top few hundred metres of the ocean. This dataset has been QCed by the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research's (CMAR's) Ocean Observing Networks (OON) group. The data can be retrieved via CMAR Data Trawler, please see link below.
