In the second half of 1960 the Bureau of Mineral Resources, Geology and Geophysics did a seismic survey lasting four months in the central portion of the Bowen Basin. This Record describes briefly the work done and the principal results obtained. A single, discontinuous seismic traverse was surveyed across the Basin in an east-west direction.
