Typical APS Roles - human readable form
General Information
This is the same data included in the typical_aps-roles.csv dataset, but presented in a more human readable form in an Excel spreadsheet.
It includes the essential and desirable skill requirements for all typical APS roles, described using the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA), APS Data Capability Framework (DCF), APS Workforce Planning Capability Framework (APSWFP) and the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) frameworks.
Change Log
- The Jan. 2023 release includes a new field indicating the date each role record was last updated. Note that this represents the data the information changed in our master records, not the date it was uploaded to data.gov.au.
- 18 Apr 2024 - Minor name change (Software Engineer > Software Engineer (Developer)
- 2 Dec 2024 - Removed eroneous characters, includes Workforce Planner and Data Professional roles.
- 16 Apr 2025 - Synchronising with Typical APS csv update
