This is calculated by dividing the number of Code 1 first responses arriving in 15 minutes or less by the total number of Code 1 first arrivals. When AV respond to an incident, we sometimes dispatch multiple AV resources to that incident. “First response” refers to the first AV resource to arrive at the incident scene. From 1 July 2013 all response times are based on data sourced from the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
