                <gco:CharacterString>This data set contains validated gaseous pollution data for the year 2024 for the Adelaide CBD region in monthly files. Data was collected as 1 hour averages. Information provided is Nitrogen Oxides values expressed in parts per million (ppm) &amp; Carbon Monoxide values expressed in parts per million (ppm). Time expressed as Time Ending Averages and in Australian Central Standard Time (ACST).

Negative values occur from time to time and are a result of the extremely low concentration levels and the noise of the instrument. 

Sampling methods, standards and uncertainties: 

Nitrogen oxides (NO, NO2, NOx) Chemiluminescence, AS3580.5.1, U95= ±0.050 ppm @ 0.400 ppm.

Carbon monoxide (CO) Gas Phase Correlation (GPC), AS3580.7.1, U95= ±1.46 ppm @ 40 ppm.
