It describes the location, physical and biological attributes of the Great Artesian Basin spring complexes. ## **Purpose** In this case it's purpose is to define the conservation ranking of the biological and habitat attributes within the Great Artesian Basin spring complexes. ## **Dataset History** This dataset was compiled by R.J. Fensham, R.J. Fairfax, T. Gotch, D. Niejalke in November 2005 and it's custodian is Queensland Herbarium, Environmental Protection Agency. Data was compiled using various methods including maps, aerial photographs, local knowledge and survey plans.
