                <gco:CharacterString>## **Abstract** 

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. 



The dataset contains the ESRI grid used in the Hunter RMS geological model relating to the surface topography based on the DEM data used in the groundwater modelling. The dataset consists of the grid used for the topography layer which represents the surface elevation from which the depths of model layers and formations within the model domain were measured. The grid was used in ArcGIS to show the surface elevation used in the RMS model.

## **Purpose** 

Used to visualize the topographic surface used in the Hunter geologic model.

## **Dataset History** 

The data set contains the topography grid exported from the RMS model for the Hunter RMS geological model. The grid was used in ArcGIS to show the surface elevation for the RMS model. Elevation values were derived from HUN GW modelling DEM v01(GUID:     f0927e8a-cc41-419b-ae68-660d5d5fa47b) which in turn source the elevation data from the dataset Geoscience Australia, 3 second SRTM Digital Elevation Model (DEM) v01(GUID: 12e0731d-96dd-49cc-aa21-ebfd65a3f67a).

The model uses the measured elevations to determine the depths of model layers and formations within the model domain.
