The Commission\u2019s vision is of a high performing public sector serving the needs of the State now and into the future.\r\n\r\nIn accordance with section 22(1) of the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2003, the Public Sector Commissioner reports annually to Parliament on the compliance of public authorities with the Act. In 2014, this was reported in the State of the WA public sector 2014 - Measuring up.\r\n\r\nThe 2014 PID survey collected information on public interest disclosures received during the 2013/14 financial year, and activities undertaken to comply with the PID Act. The survey was sent to chief employees of all public authorities, including public sector entities, local governments, public universities, other entities listed in Schedule 1 of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 (PSM Act), and government boards and committees.
