The sea trial included two legs, both from Hobart to Hobart with Leg 1 between 28th of October to the 1st November and Leg 2 from the 1st November to the 6th November. \nThe Simrad EM710 multibeam echosounder acquired high resolution seafloor bathymetry and backscatter information. \nPing rate varied according to depth. Data are stored in Simrad *.all raw format at CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere. There are 168 files totalling 20.2 GB of raw data in this dataset. \nWater column data is available for parts of this survey.  A total of 49 sound velocity profiles were applied to this data during data acquisition. Tide corrections were not applied to the processed data.\nAdditional information regarding this dataset is contained in the GSM data acquisition and processing report.
