It uses the polygons from the DEA waterbodies (https://ecat.ga.gov.au/geonetwork/srv/eng/catalog.search#/metadata/132814) with some minor modifications around Newcastle Creek and Lake Woods. Each polygon had the maximum proportion of time inundated of any pixel from WoFS recorded and these were used in the classification. Permanent waterholes had water at least 70% of the time, ephemeral wetlands had water less than 70% of the time. The 70% threshold was adopted from the work of Silcock (2009) in the similarly arid Lake Eyre Basin.", "num_resources": 1, "num_tags": 3, "organization": {"id": "69f37b4c-bdf0-4c85-bd56-82fa6d6b087a", "name": "bioregional-assessment-program", "title": "Bioregional Assessment Program", "type": "organization", "description": "The Australian Government's bioregional assessments programs are a collaboration between the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, the Bureau of Meteorology, CSIRO and Geoscience Australia. There are two separate programs of bioregional assessments.\r\n\r\nThe Bioregional Assessment Program (2012 - 2017) seeks to better understand the potential impacts of coal seam gas and large coal mining developments on water resources and water-related assets. It is one of a number of actions undertaken by the Australian Government to strengthen the science underpinning decision making on coal seam gas and large coal mining developments.\r\n\r\nThe Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program (2017 - 2021) assessed the potential impacts of shale and tight gas development on water and the environment. The Program assessed three priority geological basins: the Cooper Basin in Queensland and South Australia, the Isa Superbasin in Queensland and the Beetaloo Sub-basin in the Northern Territory (referred to as GBA regions", "image_url": "2015-10-30-051742.096388Bioregional-assessments-logo-800.jpg", "created": "2015-10-30T05:17:42.164347", "is_organization": true, "approval_status": "approved", "state": "active"}, "original_harvest_source": {"site_url": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/", "href": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/6fd7b213-945b-45b7-a6e7-1e98706d976c", "title": "data.gov.au"}, "owner_org": "69f37b4c-bdf0-4c85-bd56-82fa6d6b087a", "private": false, "spatial_coverage": "POLYGON ((0 0, 0 0, 0 0, 0 0))", "state": "active", "temporal_coverage_from": "2021-09-22 06:41:55", "title": "Beetaloo waterholes and wetlands", "type": "dataset", "unpublished": false, "url": "https://dmp.bioregionalassessments.gov.aumetadata/6FD7B213-945B-45B7-A6E7-1E98706D976C", "version": null, "extras": [{"key": "contact_info", "value": "false"}, {"key": "data_state", "value": "active"}, {"key": "field_of_research", "value": "[]"}, {"key": "jurisdiction", "value": "NONE"}, {"key": "update_freq", "value": "never"}], "resources": [{"Description": "BA Repo file attachment", "cache_last_updated": null, "cache_url": null, "created": "2021-09-22T06:41:55.184985", "datastore_active": false, "datastore_contains_all_records_of_source_file": false, "description": "Data File", "format": "ZIP", "hash": "", "id": "91ed4e3d-7c45-4ca6-b31e-28b9014d834d", "last_modified": "2021-09-21T00:00:00", "metadata_modified": "2023-08-11T01:11:30.908718", "mimetype": null, "mimetype_inner": null, "name": "6FD7B213-945B-45B7-A6E7-1E98706D976C.zip", "package_id": "f5066605-0f5c-424f-a574-2ec4ad778d16", "position": 0, "resource_type": null, "size": 380117, "state": "active", "url": "https://s3.ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/gba.dmp/datasets/6FD7B213-945B-45B7-A6E7-1E98706D976C/6FD7B213-945B-45B7-A6E7-1E98706D976C.zip", "url_type": null, "zip_extract": false}], "tags": [{"display_name": "SURFACEWATER Waterholes", "id": "5dbf6537-d060-477f-b6a9-0165352d333e", "name": "SURFACEWATER Waterholes", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "WATER Surface", "id": "1a11f42e-835c-43f6-82c0-6296dea3b8dc", "name": "WATER Surface", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "WATER Wetlands", "id": "d5cd92bb-a068-43a7-953e-aa7be473c354", "name": "WATER Wetlands", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}], "groups": [], "relationships_as_subject": [], "relationships_as_object": []}}
