The data resulting from Phase 1 of the the survey is intended to more fully document the conservation values of the range and provide a regional context to assess any proposed developments. Phase 1 of this survey was undertaken by the consulting firm Western Botanical (http://www.westernbotanical.com.au/). Phase 2 of this survey involved the establishment of a further 66 permanent quadrats and a detailed analysis of the compositional vegetation patterns across the range based on all 266 quadrats. Phase 2 field observation and analysis was undertaked by DPaW Science Division staff.
