The source dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThis resource contains the names and location of deep wells used to construct the geological model, built for the Hunter subregion of the Bioregional Assessment Programme. It includes a shapefile of point locations for the chosen wells and is attributed with the drill hole data relating to latitude, longitude, licencee, operator, depth, dates, reports etc., with a formatted Site_ID field added. The formatted site ID comes from the database table included in the dataset and has been formatted to produce a fixed width (6 digit) number from integer values (e.g. 32 = 000032)\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nBuilding of a 3D geological model with stratigraphy and lithology.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis resource was created from information on the depth, lithology and stratigraphy of well data located within the Hunter Deep Well Completion Reports (GUID: f2df86d5-6749-48c7-a445-d60067109f08) and South Sydney Deep Well Completion Reports (GUID: dbeba812-8f42-4377-a178-608deaf82811). Wells with relevant lithogical data within the Hunter subregion and the adjacent areas within the South Sydney Basin were selected to define the depth and thickness of geological layers within the model. A shapefile of point locations for the chosen wells was created and attributed with the drill hole data relating to latitude, longitude, licencee, operator, depth, dates, reports etc., with a formatted Site_ID field added. The formatted site ID comes from the database table included in the dataset and has been formatted in excel to produce a fixed width (6 digit) number from integer values (e.g. 32 = 000032).\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (XXXX) HUN Geological Model Inputs CSIRO 2014 to 2015 v01. There are two separate programs of bioregional assessments.\r\n\r\nThe Bioregional Assessment Program (2012 - 2017) seeks to better understand the potential impacts of coal seam gas and large coal mining developments on water resources and water-related assets. It is one of a number of actions undertaken by the Australian Government to strengthen the science underpinning decision making on coal seam gas and large coal mining developments.\r\n\r\nThe Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program (2017 - 2021) assessed the potential impacts of shale and tight gas development on water and the environment. The Program assessed three priority geological basins: the Cooper Basin in Queensland and South Australia, the Isa Superbasin in Queensland and the Beetaloo Sub-basin in the Northern Territory (referred to as GBA regions", "image_url": "2015-10-30-051742.096388Bioregional-assessments-logo-800.jpg", "created": "2015-10-30T05:17:42.164347", "is_organization": true, "approval_status": "approved", "state": "active"}, "original_harvest_source": {"site_url": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/", "href": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/e54a7708-3cd6-4d5f-b306-0cc9e3ae2c35", "title": "data.gov.au"}, "owner_org": "69f37b4c-bdf0-4c85-bd56-82fa6d6b087a", "private": false, "spatial_coverage": "NONE", "state": "active", "temporal_coverage_from": "2018-06-06 04:30:34", "title": "HUN Geological Model Inputs CSIRO 2014 to 2015 v01", "type": "dataset", "unpublished": false, "url": null, "version": null, "extras": [{"key": "contact_info", "value": "false"}, {"key": "data_state", "value": "active"}, {"key": "field_of_research", "value": "[]"}, {"key": "jurisdiction", "value": "NONE"}, {"key": "update_freq", "value": "never"}], "tags": [{"display_name": "Hunter subregion", "id": "efe98e45-ca7c-4841-b305-771c28982ab5", "name": "Hunter subregion", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "economy", "id": "3b7edd8a-d4ad-4e86-bd3e-f41da014e7bc", "name": "economy", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "elevation", "id": "a52a11ac-cb68-499b-bb3a-074478608e48", "name": "elevation", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "geoscientificInformation", "id": "3e763a61-9b8d-4240-9db0-2a60b0a93912", "name": "geoscientificInformation", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}], "resources": [], "groups": [], "relationships_as_subject": [], "relationships_as_object": []}}
