Review of available hydrologic and hydraulic data and previous investigations.\nAs mentioned, a Brief was prepared for a cross sectional survey of the Southern\nTributary to fill in gaps in the survey data. Historic flood marks identified by the\nCommunity Newsletter were also levelled during the creek survey.\nThe Bureau of Meteorology and Sydney Water supplied rainfall data for the historic\nstorms identified in previous investigations on flooding on Flat Rock Creek and by the\nCommunity Newsletter.

  2. The hydrologic component, which included refining and testing of the hydrologic\nmodel of the catchment, estimation of design storm rainfalls and their application to\nthe model to assess flows.

  3. The hydraulic component, which comprised the testing of the hydraulic model of the\nopen channel section of Flat Rock Creek and the preparation of the Southern\nTributary model and the definition of the water surface profiles, flows and velocities\nfor the design floods.
