You can find a link to the source dataset in the Lineage Field in this metadata statement. The History Field in this metadata statement describes how this dataset was derived.\n\nThe difference between NSW Office of Water GW licences - GLO v3 and v4 is that an unique ID has been added to the dataset. This is so it can be ingested into the asset database.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe aim of this dataset was to be able to map each groundwater works with the volumetric entitlement without double counting the volume and to aggregate/ disaggregate the data depending on the final use.\n\n\n\nThis has not been clipped to the Gloucester PAE, therefore the number of economic assets/ relevant licences will drastically reduce once this occurs.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe difference between NSW Office of Water GW licences - GLO v3 and v4 is that an unique ID has been added to the dataset. This is so it can be ingested into the asset database.\n\n\n\n\n\nData has not been clipped to the PAE.\n\n\n\nNo volume has been included for domestic & stock as it is a basic right. Therefore an arbitrary volume could be applied to account for D&S use.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (2014) NSW Office of Water GW licence extract linked to spatial locations GLOv4 UID 14032014. There are two separate programs of bioregional assessments.\r\n\r\nThe Bioregional Assessment Program (2012 - 2017) seeks to better understand the potential impacts of coal seam gas and large coal mining developments on water resources and water-related assets. It is one of a number of actions undertaken by the Australian Government to strengthen the science underpinning decision making on coal seam gas and large coal mining developments.\r\n\r\nThe Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program (2017 - 2021) assessed the potential impacts of shale and tight gas development on water and the environment.
