These surveys will\ninform coastal modelling currently being undertaken as part of coastal design projects and may also\nbe used to set-out coastal protection structures such as groyne extensions and seawalls encroaching\nbelow the low tide mark.\u00a0\n\nThe survey requirements were to provide enough coverage within marked survey extents and high\npriority areas for each site to capture key bed features and the toe of any coastal structures up to\n-0.5m AHD. Additionally, the fringes of reefs within the marked areas were to be captured. To\nsupplement this data, a number of survey profiles were specified for capture. The survey to be carried\nout to Class D requirements.\n\nThis site, Woody Point, refers to a 2.2km x 0.6km long section of coastline on the southern tip of the\nRedcliffe Peninsula and incorporates the Woody Point jetty.
