Commodities are assigned to the Australian Land Use and Management (ALUM) Classification version 8. Those commodities which are tertiary classes of the ALUM Classification such as sugar cane, cotton, rice, olives and grapes have been mapped by jurisdictions for some time. Recent mapping also includes horticulture and intensive animal industries.
