Together, the DEOPE and the Commissioner promote an integrated approach to EEO that recognises the importance of equity and diversity in optimising service design and delivery to the broader community.\r\n\r\nTo assist the DEOPE to monitor the diversity of the workforce, each public authority is required to obtain relevant workforce demographic information from their employees. Local governments, universities, and other entities listed in Schedule 1 of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 (apart from the Western Australian Police Force and Electorate Offices) provide this demographic information through the EEO survey. The Western Australian Police Force and Electorate Offices report workforce data through the human resource minimum obligatory information requirement (HRMOIR) process. \r\n\r\nIn 2014, 138 local governments, four public universities, and 22 other Schedule 1 PSM Act authorities completed the EEO survey. Data for local governments was collected as at March 31 2014, and other authorities as at 30 June 2014.\r\n\r\nThis data set contains a summary of demographics as reported through the EEO survey for each public authority. \r\n\r\nFurther information and aggregate data for each authority type is available in the Director of Equal Opportunity in Public Employment annual report 2014.\r\n", "num_resources": 1, "num_tags": 3, "organization": {"id": "6f228371-1dc8-4b31-9008-06e8b72123e4", "name": "public-sector-commission-wa", "title": "Public Sector Commission (Western Australia)", "type": "organization", "description": "The aim of the Public Sector Commission is to bring leadership and expertise to the public sector to enhance integrity, effectiveness and efficiency. \r\n\r\nThe Public Sector Commission collects workforce data through the Human Resource Minimum Obligatory Information Requirement (HRMOIR) process and several annual surveys and uses these to produce reports on the characteristics of the Western Australian public sector workforce.\r\n\r\nMore information and reports can be found on our website:\r\nhttp://www.publicsector.wa.gov.au/workforce/workforce-and-diversity-planning/workforce-data\r\n\r\n", "image_url": "20140704-033457.261684psc-website-logo.png", "created": "2014-07-01T00:20:50.337346", "is_organization": true, "approval_status": "approved", "state": "active"}, "original_harvest_source": {"site_url": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/", "href": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/public-sector-commission-wa-equal-employment-opportunity-survey-2014", "title": "data.gov.au"}, "owner_org": "6f228371-1dc8-4b31-9008-06e8b72123e4", "private": false, "spatial": "", "spatial_coverage": "http://www.ga.gov.au/place-names/PlaceDetails.jsp?submit1=WA100146691", "state": "active", "temporal_coverage_from": "2015-04-17 08:52:49", "title": "Public Sector Commission WA Equal Employment Opportunity Survey 2014", "type": "dataset", "unpublished": false, "url": null, "version": null, "extras": [{"key": "contact_info", "value": "false"}, {"key": "data_state", "value": "active"}, {"key": "field_of_research", "value": "[]"}, {"key": "jurisdiction", "value": "Western Australia"}, {"key": "update_freq", "value": "annually"}], "groups": [{"description": "Formulating policy to support employment growth and regulate public or private sector working environments.
