The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. \n\n\n\nThis dataset contains the hydraulic conductivity and transmissivity data for the NSW part of the Clarence-Moreton Basin. The data were organized by geological formations. The data were sourced from the NSW state allocation database (GUID = 0f4da0d0-9e82-42f3-84da-1148e0b730c1). The data indicate that the Woogaroo Subgroup is being pumped most intensively. However, most bores in other major aquifers, such as the alluvium and Grafton Formation, have an allocation entry of zero in the state database. For example, 653 of 702 alluvial bores are assigned an allocation of zero in the database. One main reason for this is that no allocation is planned for most domestic and stock bores because they belong to the basic water right licence. Thus, this summary may not reflect the reality.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis dataset was compiled through the following process:\n\n\n\n1. Filter the data using the spatial extent of the Clarence-Moreton Basin;\n\n2. Aquifer assignment.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (2014) CLM - Bore allocations NSW. There are two separate programs of bioregional assessments.\r\n\r\nThe Bioregional Assessment Program (2012 - 2017) seeks to better understand the potential impacts of coal seam gas and large coal mining developments on water resources and water-related assets. It is one of a number of actions undertaken by the Australian Government to strengthen the science underpinning decision making on coal seam gas and large coal mining developments.\r\n\r\nThe Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program (2017 - 2021) assessed the potential impacts of shale and tight gas development on water and the environment.
