The assessment extended to examination of\npotential future development and its possible adverse impacts on flows and water quality. The\nGreen Square \u2013 West Kensington Floodplain Risk Management Study\nmeasures were then assessed in terms of their suitability and effectiveness for reducing social,\necological, environmental, cultural and economic impacts. As part of this process a number of\nmeasures were identified as not being worthy of further consideration.\n\nA summary of the various floodplain management measures considered during the course of the\nstudy is presented in Table (i) together with a brief assessment of their viability for\nimplementation as part of the Floodplain Risk Management Plan for the Green Square \u2013 West\nKensington catchment.\n\nRANDWICK CITY COUNCIL FINALISATION - October 13, 2011\n\nIt is necessary to note that the City Of Sydney is currently investigating floodplain\nmanagement measures for the Green Square Town Centre.
