Data includes general well history, company and GSQ stratigraphy, drill stem tests, wireline logs, downhole temperatures, analytical data, biostratigraphy, and hydrocarbon indications.\n\n\n\nhttp://mines.industry.qld.gov.au/geoscience/about-gsq.htm\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe Borehole Database is part of our MERLIN geographic information system (GIS) and involved the amalgamation of 4 Departmental Databases: the petroleum (QERDB), coal (QCOS), mineral (TerraSearch Pty Ltd download) and water (Groundwater Database).\n\n\n\nExtracted from well completion reports, papers, departmental regional project results, borehole reports, and wireline logs. Some data also reinterpreted by Departmental staff (eg. stratigraphy and biostratigraphy). Update in progress for petroleum and CSG dataset only.
