The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. \n\n\n\nThis dataset was prepared from time-series water levels collected by the Qld DNRM to summarise the current trends in water levels for observation bores in the Galilee subregion. The dataset is a summary of statistically significant water level trends found in non-artesian observation bores in the Galilee subregion.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nWater level data for non-artesian bores were collected from the Queensland Bore database (DNRM). Calendar dates for water level measurements were converted into cumulative years from the first measurement. Time-series water levels for each bore were analysed using the Theil-Sen regression method to establish whether they showed a statistically significant trend in water levels.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (2015) Galilee water level trend. There are two separate programs of bioregional assessments.\r\n\r\nThe Bioregional Assessment Program (2012 - 2017) seeks to better understand the potential impacts of coal seam gas and large coal mining developments on water resources and water-related assets. It is one of a number of actions undertaken by the Australian Government to strengthen the science underpinning decision making on coal seam gas and large coal mining developments.\r\n\r\nThe Geological and Bioregional Assessment Program (2017 - 2021) assessed the potential impacts of shale and tight gas development on water and the environment. The Program assessed three priority geological basins: the Cooper Basin in Queensland and South Australia, the Isa Superbasin in Queensland and the Beetaloo Sub-basin in the Northern Territory (referred to as GBA regions", "image_url": "2015-10-30-051742.096388Bioregional-assessments-logo-800.jpg", "created": "2015-10-30T05:17:42.164347", "is_organization": true, "approval_status": "approved", "state": "active"}, "original_harvest_source": {"site_url": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/", "href": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/df5da9f1-afdd-4ec8-9c9a-0fc5a23526eb", "title": "data.gov.au"}, "owner_org": "69f37b4c-bdf0-4c85-bd56-82fa6d6b087a", "private": false, "spatial_coverage": "POLYGON ((0 0, 0 0, 0 0, 0 0))", "state": "active", "temporal_coverage_from": "2018-12-06 00:00:00", "title": "Galilee water level trend", "type": "dataset", "unpublished": false, "url": null, "version": null, "extras": [{"key": "contact_info", "value": "false"}, {"key": "data_state", "value": "active"}, {"key": "field_of_research", "value": "[]"}, {"key": "jurisdiction", "value": "Queensland"}, {"key": "update_freq", "value": "never"}], "resources": [{"Description": "CSIRO Download Page", "cache_last_updated": null, "cache_url": null, "created": "2018-12-06T21:45:56.623383", "datastore_active": false, "datastore_contains_all_records_of_source_file": false, "description": "Data File", "format": "ZIP", "hash": "", "id": "a4eb6ab2-2741-43dd-b73f-f66027a82d00", "last_modified": "2017-01-18T00:00:00", "metadata_modified": "2022-04-13T09:01:08.544884", "mimetype": null, "mimetype_inner": null, "name": "Galilee water level trend", "package_id": "2b8378b0-79a8-4d4b-bcde-3f648a6f7318", "position": 0, "resource_type": null, "size": 45546, "state": "active", "url": "https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/2b8378b0-79a8-4d4b-bcde-3f648a6f7318/resource/a4eb6ab2-2741-43dd-b73f-f66027a82d00/download/df5da9f1-afdd-4ec8-9c9a-0fc5a23526eb.zip", "url_type": "upload", "zip_extract": false}], "tags": [{"display_name": "Galilee subregion", "id": "d61d0a80-3ca5-4dff-a8e9-beb2223453a4", "name": "Galilee subregion", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "Queensland", "id": "b9840174-0e53-4386-8167-8b6192aa29ac", "name": "Queensland", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}, {"display_name": "geoscientificInformation", "id": "3e763a61-9b8d-4240-9db0-2a60b0a93912", "name": "geoscientificInformation", "state": "active", "vocabulary_id": null}], "groups": [], "relationships_as_subject": [], "relationships_as_object": []}}
