The current land tenure arrangements within the regional parks are complex with a number of different tenures and landholders existing. These may include Commonwealth or State land, local government land, private freehold land where the landowner has agreed, UCL and unmanaged reserve.\nRegional Parks provide an opportunity for coordinated land use management and planning. Parks and Wildlife works closely with local councils and community groups to manage these diverse multi purpose areas.
