Protected vegetation under this category includes street trees on footpaths/road reserves and trees in parks. The law is in place to protect the city\u2019s natural vegetation and delivers a balance between protecting the city\u2019s environment and people, property and lifestyle.\n\nPlease note that this mapping does not include all protected vegetation, it only includes the Council Vegetation category as mapped under the Natural Assets Local Law 2003.
