Australian Government Organisations Register

The Australian Government Organisations Register (the Register) is officially available on the directory.gov.au website: https://www.directory.gov.au/reports/australian-government-organisations-register

The Register provides information on the function, composition, origins and other details of Australian Government bodies.

__ Note 1 __ From the 1 July 2018, the CSV file now includes a unique ID which is generated by the Organisation Appointments Register (OAR) system which powers www.directory.gov.au. The unique ID is not considered to be a long-life key, please use at your own risk!!

__ Note 2 __ For users who require access to a dataset updated on a daily basis, an XML file exists that provides a complete data dump of the contents published on directory.gov.au which includes the AGOR dataset. The XML file is located at: https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/10fcf020-a652-45d8-b17b-a1fbb4d13de5
